70cl - 32% ABV
Rhum de Ced created and produced by Master Craftsman Cédric Brement with the help of the Salines de Millac.
Special edition accompanied by a small box of salt from the Salines de Millac.
Delicately weathered by time and clay, the very rare Point G Victoria Pineapple bottles come straight from the imagination of two passionate artisans. In the light, they reveal the luminous nuances reminiscent of the glassmakers who helped shape the glory days of Art Deco.
Ced’ met Mano in 2014, a trained sommelier and salt worker. Mano introduced him to the Salines de Millac, where he has worked for more than 10 years producing an exceptional single-origin salt.
The two artisans embarked on a joint project that they naturally named Point G... a reference to the collection of the Gabelle, the salt tax under the Ancien Régime, but above all a playful and humorous nod to the pursuit of pleasure.
Point G consists of a few hundred bottles immersed for two months at the bottom of a salt pan in the Breton marshes.
The result of this surprising experiment will intrigue the palate with its saline notes and deliciously accelerated maceration.
The Salines de Millac
A major centre of the salt trade between the 12th and 16th centuries, the Bourgneuf salt marshes were once the pride of the “Bay of Brittany”. For the past 10 years, Nat and Mano, artisan salt workers, have been reviving this preserved natural ecosystem by restarting the local production of high-quality salt, harvested by hand exclusively in the terroir of the Salines de Millac near Pornic. This unique and authentic single-origin salt delights the most discerning gourmets.
